DNA fingerprinting is a laboratory chemical method used to identify an individual from a sample of DNA by looking at unique patterns in their DNA. DNA fingerprinting can be applied to a variety of situations including criminal investigations and for forensic purposes, establish paternity and parentage, study biodiversity of species, track genetically-modified crops, and even to identify genetic conditions for disease prevention and cure. This workshop will provide hands-on experience on DNA profiling methods, analysis of forensic samples, data interpretation and case reporting.Contact Details
